Gasket sealant Abro SS2400*

High-quality American silicone sealant. It is used to repair and replace almost all gaskets used in cars. It is specially developed for high temperatures up to 343°C. Properties: It easily takes any form and successfully sustains compression, stretching, and shear. It has high resistance to gasoline, car oils, water, anti-freezes, and brake fluids. It is resistant to UV-rays. It does not corrode. It meets or exceeds the requirements of O.E.M. (Original equipment manufacturers). Application. Remove the left parts of the old gasket and thoroughly clean the surface from oil, grease, etc. Cut the tip of the cartridge and screw the applicator. Cut the applicator to the necessary size of the hole and insert the cartridge into a special gun. Apply the gasket sealant on the whole contact surface (preferably only on the cover), thus making a layer of 2 - 3 mm of thickness. Leave the holes for the fixing bolts. Let it dry up for 10 minutes before the installation. Then press both jointed parts by screwing the bolts. Remove the excessive amount with a dry wipe. In case of incomplete usage, squeeze a drop of the sealant. During the repeated application, remove the dried-up plug. It is not recommended to use for the gaskets of the cylinder block head. The time for sticking of metal parts: 1 hour. The complete drying of the formed gasket of 3mm thickness is in 12 hours. Do not use the sealant to glue parts in gasoline. Composition: silicon dioxide, distillates. Application: seal crankcases, manifolds, pumps, chain covers, axle sleeves, thermostats.
