Silicone sealant Abro 912-AB

ABRO silicone gasket sealant is specially designed for repair of engine gaskets in Japanese cars, but it can be also used in engine made in the USA and Europe. It is ideally suitable for repair of gaskets in crankcase covers of gearboxes, thermostat housings, inlet manifolds, crankcase pans, and water pumps. It does not degrade under the impact of car fluids (except for gasoline). Neutral (without scents). High-temperature: up to 343°C. Safe for sensors (oxygen, etc.). Resistant to oils, antifreeze, water. Resistant to corrosion. APPLICATION. 1. Remove residues of the old gasket and clean the surface carefully, without scratches on the metal, remove dirt, fat, and oil. 2. Remove the cap, puncture the protective foil and screw the attached probe. Cut the end of the probe to get the hole of a necessary diameter. 3. Apply the gasket sealant on the whole contact surface (preferably only on the cover), thus making a layer of 3 - 3 mm of thickness. Leave the holes for the fixing bolts. Close the tube after application. 4. Let it dry up for 10 minutes before the installation. Press both jointed parts by screwing the bolts. Remove excess of the sealant with a dry wipe. Composition: calcium carbonate, 2-butanone, silicon, 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane, 1-propylamine.
