CRC Motor Protect is a multi-functional corrosion inhibitor and lubricant, which protects internal and external engine parts from corrosion during the storage time. It is based on paraffin oil and a complex organic inhibiting system, which prevents oxidation by long-term protection against water and oxygen. The efficiency of CRC Motor Protect as a product for surface protection is based on three main properties: Good adhesion with metals (structural similarity). Foaming property. Viscosity. Thanks to the foaming property, viscosity and good adhesion to metals, CRC Motor Protect removes moisture and insulates it from the metal surface. The oily lubricating film protects metal surfaces from corrosion. The product is very efficient for internal engine parts. Thanks to the foaming property, the internal engine parts are humidified well. It removes and insulates moisture. It lubricates. It protects from corrosion during the storage period. It is compatible with most painted surfaces, coatings, plastic and rubber parts. The aerosol is under the pressure of a non-flammable propellant, which lets fill up 95% of the bottle with the effective product (i.e. on 30% more than when using usual hydrocarbon propellants). Application: Seasonal storage of internal and external boat engines Engines of snow mobiles, motorcycles, cars, etc. Warm up the engine (see the manual: never start up the engine without a cooling fluid). Stop the engine and unscrew the spark plugs (on gasoline engines) or glow plugs (on diesel engines). Substantially apply the product on the cylinders. Start up the engine manually several times or quickly press the engine startup button. Before recommencing the use of the engine, install new spark plugs. It is recommended to treat the engine independent on whether the engine is not used during a month or more. When the protecting film is applied on the external engine surfaces, remember that Motor Protect is not suitable for outdoor engine storage.
