Shell Gadus S2 V220 2 is a high-quality multi-purpose lubricant, made of high-index mineral oils, which comprise lithium hydroxystearate as a densifier. The lubricant also contains the package of extreme-pressure lead-free additives. Shell Gadus S2 V220 2 lubricant is used for lubrication of slide and rolling bearings, used in equipment for steel-casting, pulp and paper, as well as mining industries, construction and excavation machinery. Shell Gadus S2 V220 2 has approvals and specifications of many equipment manufacturers, e.g., British Timken. It can be used at the operating temperature range –20 °C - +100 °C. Shell Gadus S2 V220 2 lubricant comprises special extreme-pressure additives, which ensure a high bearing capacity, help maintain shock loads without oil film destruction. The lubricant has a high resistance to water washing-off, protects contacting surfaces of the bearings from corrosion even in case of water intrusion. The specially selected structure of base oils has excellent oxidative stability. Shell Gadus S2 V220 2 grease does not change during long-term storage, it sustains high operating temperatures, does not thicken and does not form deposits
