GUNS HAVE SILENCERS, BUT BRAKES HAVE SLIPKOTE® Description: SLIPKOTE® 943C Silaramic DBC Grease is developed to reduce noise during braking, vibration and uneven movement of the caliper parts by suppressing all physical vibrations of the brake. It is a blend of fine refined polydimethylsiloxane base oils and enhanced with the newest anti0rusting, anti-oxidative, and anti-wear additives, ensuring long-term protection against friction, wear, and corrosion. SLIPKOTE® 943C Silaramic DBC Grease is enriched with a large amount of the unique, high-temperature, hard ceramic grease. Ceramic powder and additives form a chemisorbed lubricating film on the rubbing surfaces, which does not break up during the boundary lubrication. This lubricating film ensures protection against dirt, corrosion and uneven wear of the brake pads at the extreme operating temperatures from minus 46C to higher than +1650 °C. SLIPKOTE® 943C Silaramic DBC Grease is compatible with most of popular thermoplastics and elastomers, including nitrile and ethylene-propylene rubber ((EPDM, EP or EPT), used in the disc brake calipers. It complies with the requirements of the Japanese standard JIS K 2228 for compatibility with nitrile and ethylene-propylene rubber. APPLICATION: SLIPKOTE® 943C Silaramic DBC Grease is developed as an anti-frictional, anti-corrosive lubricant for all movable parts of the disc brake caliper of cars and trucks, back metal surfaces of brake pads and elastomer seals. It efficiently solves the problems of the disc brake caliper. Due to the fact that the grease is purely synthetic, with a high concentration of solid lubricating additives that form a dry lubricating film, operating in the boundary lubrication mode, it is an excellent anti-noise compound that prolongs the life of disc and drum brake pads, and relieves the driver of the car from the dissatisfaction of grinding and squeaking brakes. High-temperature properties of the lubricant make it ideal for use in ceramic brakes, which work at very high temperatures. BENEFITS: It prevents rust and corrosion. Apply SLIPKOTE® 943C Silaramic DBC Grease on the back, metal surfaces of the brake pads, all movable parts of the caliper, jointed surfaces and elastomeric seals. The excessive grease squeezed from the jointed surfaces must be removed. Avoid applying the grease on the brake disc and internal surfaces of the brake pads!
