Castrol Moly Grease is a multi-functional grease with special fillers, designed for cars and the industrial application. It is produced based on a balanced set of mineral base oils with lithium thickeners and a specially selected additive package, including EP/ anti-wear additives, anti-oxidants and corrosion inhibitors. Molybdenum disulphide increases the bearing capacity with simultaneous reduction of losses on friction, especially in the components where there are more modes of reciprocating motions and sliding. Application. Castrol Moly Grease can be used in a wide range of low- and medium-speed bearings, where there are frequent knocks and increased vibration loads and where there are special requirements to the use of lubricants with molybdenum disulphide. Thanks to hard components together with the friction-reducing property, Castrol Moly Grease can be used in the units, operating in reciprocating or sliding motions, and prevent their damage and wear. As Castrol Moly Grease is multi-purpose, it can be used in cars, trucks, e.g., in such components as movable ball joints, cam lifters, threaded joints, sliding shafts, guides, and seats of tractor units.
