GLACELF PLUS is anti-freeze with a long service life based on mono-ethylene-glycol and a non-organic corrosion inhibitor. It also comprises an organic inhibitor, so it is a product of the hybrid technology. When it is mixed with a respective amount of water, it turns into a coolant recommended for the cooling systems of all internal combustion engines of cars, vans, trucks, construction and agricultural equipment. According to the Decree of the Government of France # 95-326 dd March 20 1995 regarding the list of main products containing mono-ethylene-glycol, GLACELF PLUS antifreeze comprises additives which provide bitter taste and prevent accidental swallowing by children or adults. To prepare a coolant which efficiently protects the engine from freezing or overheating and can be used all the year round, GLACELF PLUS antifreeze should be diluted with distillated water (hardness < 8?F). To get the ideally mixed coolant, it is recommended to mix the antifreeze with water mechanically. Protection against freezing depends on the proportion of the antifreeze and water. The minimum recommended concentration of GLASELF PLUS is 30%. The maximum protection from freezing is achieved at 68% concentration. It is not recommended to use GLASELF PLUS in the concentration higher than 70%. GLASELF PLUS retains protective properties: up to 250000 km (3000 hours) when it is used in trucks; up to 100000 km (800 hours) when it is used in cars. It is recommended t change the anti-freeze once in 3 years or when the mileage specified above is achieved. All anti-freezes and coolants based on mono-ethylene-glycol are referred to special industrial wastes and must be disposed in permitted places. GLACELF PLUS anti-freeze provides an efficient solution for the corrosion problem of all the metals present in the cooling systems. The balanced additive package in GLACELF PLUS provides the coolant with the abundance of alkalinity (to neutralize gases of acid combustion), resistance to foaming (to eliminate possible resistant foam), compatibility with hard water (max. 40F).
