SPECIFIC 229.52 5W-30 100% SYNTHETIC OIL FOR MERCEDES-BENZ BLUETEC DIESEL AND GASOLINE ENGINES EQUIPPED WITH SCR SYSTEMS AND/OR DPF. It is specially developed for the latest generation of BlueTEC diesel engines equipped with SCR installed in Mercedes-Benz autos meeting Euro IV and Euro VI requirements and requiring the oils by MB 229.52 standard. It is also used in all Mercedes diesel engines equipped with particulate filters and in some gasoline engines requiring the motor oils meeting MB 229.51 or MB 229.31 standards. For the engines requiring the motor oils by MB 229.5 standard, use only the oils with this approval, e.g., MOTUL 8100 X-cess 5W-40 or MOTUL 8100 X-max 0W-40.
