RAVENOL WIV III 5W-30 is a top-quality, unique synthetic motor oil made in Germany using the directed organic synthesis and polyalphaolefins with a hydrocracking base components and a Low SAPS additive package. High thermal stability of the synthetic base prevents oil oxidation and extends change intervals thanks to its long life properties. RAVENOL WIV III 5W-30 motor oil is specially formulated for the newest Volkswagen engines with extended change intervals, including diesel engines of the latest generation with injection systems, equipped with pump-injectors (Pumpe-Duse-Motoren), diesel particulate filters and three-way catalytic convertors, as well as gasoline engines with FSI systems. It reliably protects the engine in extremely severe operation conditions, including when driving in the city Start-Stop mode. 5W-30 viscosity range enables to use the fully synthetic RAVENOL VIW III 5W-30 motor oil all the year round, including extremely cold winters. It is not recommended for use in R5 TDI (2.5 L) and V10 TDI (5 L) engines, requiring only VW 506 01 oils. In such cases, use RAVENOL WIV II 0W-30.
