The motor oil is specially developed for BMW and MINI engines meeting EURO IV norms (M43CNG, M47/TU2, M57TU, M57TOP, M57TU2, M67TU...), which have reduced amount of sulfated ash (0.8%), phosphorus (0.07%-0.09%), sulfur (0.3%) - Mid SAPS. For use in diesel engines with particulate filters. Specific LL-04 can be used in the engines without particulate filters. This product can be used in the gasoline engines of BMW autos in the EU, Switzerland, Norway and Lichtenstein. Specific LL-04 can be used in the engines requiring LL-01, LL-01FE, LL-98 oils, except M3 and M5 models. Check BMW recommendations. The engines meeting the Euro IV requirements are equipped with very sensitive exhaust gas after-treatment system: Sulfur and phosphorus in emissions reduce catalytic convertor efficiency; sulfated ash sediments on the elements of the particulate filter which leads to increased fuel consumption and engine power reduction. BMW Long Life-04 stipulates reduced amount of sulfated ash, phosphorus and sulfur - Mid SAPS - compatible with exhaust gas after-treatment systems.
