This product helps prevent contamination of the engine and keeps it clean. Application. PENNZOIL® MOTOR OIL is suitable for passenger cars, small trucks, mini-buses and off-road vehicles operating on gasoline, including E10 and E85 classes. Pennzoil ® MOTOR OIL 5W-20, 5W-30 and 10W-30 meets or exceeds the requirements of international standards (ILSAC) GF-4. ILSAC GF-4 includes the standards for different branches: for passenger cars, light trucks and SUVs, for many American and Japanese OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer) of vehicles. The oil also meets API SM requirements. PENNZOIL® MOTOR OIL is a motor oil which SAE 10W-40 and SAE 20W-50 viscosity is suitable for the engines requiring API SM. The viscosity can depend on the temperature and the engine manufacturer. For most autos (about 1993 and earlier), the API licensed oils with ILSAC GF-4, ILSAC GF-3 or GF-2) requirements are typical.
