PENNZOIL® HD is a synthetic motor oil which meets or exceeds the requirements of American and foreign passenger car engines. PENNZOIL® HD comprises a balanced set of highly efficient additives. PENNZOIL® HD is designed to overcome extreme conditions. Application. PENNZOIL® HD is recommended for big and small engines operating on gasoline or gas which require SAE 30, SAE 40 or SAE 50 viscosity. PENNZOIL® HD meets the API SM standards (SAE 30, SAE 40 and SAE 50). The oil is also recommended for old engines which operation manuals recommend API SL, SJ, SH, SG, SF, SE standards. PENNZOIL® HD is designed to protect the engines which use propane, butane or liquified gas. These engines have a higher burning peak temperature which can lead to formation of ash deposits in the combustion chamber. This condition can lead to the increased valve temperature and the worn out valve seat which is inhibited by Pennzoil ® HD. PENNZOIL® HD is suitable for use in hydraulic systems, industrial circulation systems requiring application of the motor oils of one grade. PENNZOIL® HD is available in three viscosity grades: SAE 30, SAE 40 and SAE 50. The viscosity depends on the temperature and engine manufacturer.
