PENNZOIL® MOTOR OIL PENNZOIL® MOTOR OIL is an all-season, synthetic motor oil. Multi-purpose oil with active detergent additives and a wide range of viscosities. This product helps prevent contamination of the engine and keeps it clean. The oil meets ILSAC GF-4 (5W-20, 5W-30, 10W-30) or API SM requirements and is specially designed to ensure additional protection in the Stop-Start mode in high and low temperatures. Application. PENNZOIL® MOTOR OIL is suitable for passenger cars, light trucks, mini-buses and off-road vehicles operating on gasoline, including E10 and E85 classes. Pennzoil ® MOTOR OIL 5W-20, 5W-30 and 10W-30 meets or exceeds the requirements of international standards (ILSAC) GF-4. ILSAC GF-4 includes the standards for different branches: for passenger cars, light trucks and SUVs, for many American and Japanese OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer) of vehicles. The oil also meets API SM requirements. PENNZOIL® MOTOR OIL is a motor oil which SAE 10W-40 and SAE 20W-50 viscosity is suitable for the engines requiring API SM. The viscosity can depend on the temperature and the engine manufacturer. For most autos (appr. 1993 and later) the API licenses oils are typical which require ILSAC GF-4, ILSAC GF-3 or GF-2). Always check the user’s guide to correctly select a viscosity grade and s[ecifications. Some applications: SAE 5W-20 – current and recent OEM’s requirements, including 2001 and later Ford and Honda, an then Chrysler, Nissan and Toyota SAE. 5W-30 – for American and Japanese autos, including General Motors, Suzuki, Subaru, Hyundai.
