Mobil 1 0W-40

Mobil 1 0W-40 is a multi-purpose, fully synthetic motor oil of the latest generation with the unique combination of the highest performance properties. It ensures reliable protection of modern gasoline and diesel engines of passenger cars, mini-buses and off-road vehicles operating in any difficulties. It is especially recommended for the engines fitted with a turbocharger (both diesel and gasoline), catalytic convertor and for the diesel engines with direct injection (DI type). Mobil 1 0W-40 is made by the unique technology based on three patented synthetic base components and a high-performance additive package which combination provides exceptional performance properties. The highest viscosity and temperature properties meeting the SAE 0W-40 class ensure the fastest oil flow to all the lubrication point which guarantees protection from increased wear specific for the starting operation modes of the engine. Mobil 1 0W-40 retains its liquid condition in the temperatures below -54 C and provides possibilities to start the engine in any extremely low ambient temperatures guaranteeing the maximum protection from wear. At the same time, with high working temperatures and speeds specific for modern engines, the necessary viscosity retains (at the level higher than the SAE 40 requirement) and ensures reliable protection from overheating and wear. Performance test showed that Mobil 1 0W-40 preserves its properties during a long time (even in case of operation with the maximally extended oil change intervals) and keeps the engine as new. The minimum wear (within the limits for new parts) is ensured, as well as the minimum formation of carbon deposits and soot which enables to significantly extend the engine service life. Moreover, Mobil 1 0W-40 reduces environmental pollution and saves fuel during its application (in average on 3% and more by the test results). It complies with the fuel economy requirements of the leading GF-2 category of the ILSAC standard (energy saving oils with low phosphorus content) and the API SJ Energy Conserving category (fuel economy compared to the reference synthetic SAE 5W-30 oil by the results of the Sequence VI-A test).
