AGIP ROTRA MP is a transmission oil with EP (Extreme Pressure) properties intended for use in hybrid transmissions operating in severe conditions and under high loads, especially those subject to high dynamic loads. ROTRA MP oil is also used in usual gearboxes and power steering systems of passenger cars and trucks, gearboxes and power take-off mechanisms installed on agricultural equipment and mining machinery. The oil is used for lubrication of all types of transmissions requiring EP additives. PROPERTIES AND PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS. Thanks to EP additives, a strong oil film is formed which reliably retains on metal surfaces during operation in very severe conditions with high dynamic and impact loads. Excellent anti-wear and lubricating properties significantly reduce wear of hypoid gears and bearings. High resistance to oxidation preserves all the oil properties even in very high temperatures. AGIP ROTRA MP viscosity properties stay unchanged even during long usage and the oil does not form any deposits. AGIP ROTRA MP oil is neutral to steel, copper and other metals and alloys which ideally saves them. Anti-corrosive properties efficiently protect from rust on the metal surfaces even in case of humidity. Anti-foaming properties prevent formation of air bubbles negatively impacting the oil film strength.
