Chevron RPM Arctic Gear Lubricant is a multi-functional automotive lubricant for application in severe conditions, intended for use in severe climate zones. It is formulated with the base ISOSYN™ oils and blended with EP, anti-wear, limited slip additives, corrosion and rust inhibitors, anti-foaming additives and an additive increasing a viscosity index and stabilizing the shear. Chevron RPM Arctic Gear Lubricant is formulated for maximum protection of automotive gears operating in very severe climate conditions when the lubricant fluidity for protection of gears and bearings becomes crucial; when low viscosity helps in removing of caught air bubbles and in preserving the best oil film on the mobile parts. Application. Chevron RPM Arctic Gear Lubricant is recommended for all automotive rear axles and gears of manual transmission operating in severe Arctic climate or where the OEM recommends other viscosity range than that of standard gear lubricants SAE 80W?90 or SAE 85W?140.
