Gulf Gear TDL is a series of high-quality thermally stable oils, made according to modern requirements to transmission oils for light and heavy commercial vehicles. High-quality base oils and a modern additive package provide reliable protection of the transmission components, easy gear shifting and improved protection of the synchronizers. The oils of this series meet the specifications for single transmission lubrication. It meets the requirements of MAN M 3343 Type M and Scania STO 1:0 specifications. Features and benefits. The unique additive package enables to use this oil as a single lubricant for rear axles, synchronized and non-synchronized manual transmissions. High oxidative stability reduces formation of hard deposits, extends the service life of the transmission parts and the oil itself. Efficient protection from rust and corrosion, especially for copper and its alloys, reduces wear, extends the service life of synchronizers and ensures easy gear shifting. Good anti-foaming properties guarantee stable thickness of the oil film and reliable lubrication of the parts under extreme loads. Good low-temperature fluidity reduces wear of the parts and ensures easy start in low ambient temperatures. Excellent compatibility with elastomers minimizes possible leaks or air tightness of the transmissions and axles. Application. Rear axles, synchronized and non-synchronized manual transmissions, requiring a single lubricant. Transmission systems, requiring the oils by MAN M 3343 Type M, 341 Typ E2 or Scania STO 1:0 specifications. Approvals and specifications: API GL-4/GL-5/MT-1; MIL-PRF-2105E; SAE J 2360; Mack GO-J; Renault; Eaton; DAF ; Volvo. It is not suitable for automatic transmissions and transmissions with limited slip differentials.
