Gulf Gear MP SAE 85W-140 is a high-quality transmission oil for a wide range of automotive gearboxes, axles and drive gears. It is specially formulated for the gearboxes and axles operating under non-regular impact shocks and high pressure. Peculiarities and benefits. High oxidation stability of the oil reduces sludge and hard deposit formation thus extending the service life of the transmission parts. Good anti-foaming properties guarantee stable oil film thickness and reliable lubrication of the parts under extreme loads. Good low-temperature oil fluidity reduces wear of the parts and ensures easy start in low ambient temperatures. Excellent compatibility with elastomers minimizes leaks or seal failure of the transmissions and axles. Application. It is recommended for use in heavily loaded non-synchronized manual transmissions, axles and drive gears which require the API GL-5 oil.
