GEAR EP 5 80W-90 is a mineral transmission oil for manual gearboxes, hypoid gears and gearboxes where it is recommended to use GL-5 oil. GEAR EP 5 80W-90 is a multi-purpose transmission oil for automotive drivetrains, gearboxes, rear axles, etc. when hypoid oil or API GL-5 oil is recommended. It is formulated for maximum efficiency if when gears are subject to big loads. It improves fuel economy compared to the general SAE 90 oil. GEAR EP 5 80W-90 is resistant to oxidation even in high operating temperatures and protects from corrosion. It comprises anti-friction additives reducing temperature, wear and surface fatigue. Thanks to this fact, the oil sustains high loads and extends the oil change intervals. It is compatible with commonly applied sealing materials in transmissions.
