RAVENOL SDT Super Duty Truck SAE 10W-40 is a fully synthetic, high alloyed, easy-running motor oil with a low-ash additive package (Low SAPS). It is specially formulated for the year-round application in heavy-duty diesel engines of trucks. It is intended for use in EURO 2, EURO 3, EURO 4, EURO 5 and EURO 6 turbocharged diesel engines together with diesel fuel with the sulfur content up to 500 ppm. It is a SHPD (Super High Performance Diesel) motor oil for trucks and off-road vehicles Tier4, for use in the engines with and without particulate filters and catalysts requiring Low SAPS oils (low content of sulfated ash, phosphorus and sulfur). Thanks to resistance to oxidation and shear, it has excellent air-separating property to meet the requirements of the modern API CK-4 standard. It ensures excellent cold start in low ambient temperatures, excellent lubrication in high operation temperatures. Low losses on friction and low wear. It is the first European motor oil licensed by API CK-4 and API CJ-4. The new API CK-4 specification replaces the older specification and covers the engines running on diesel fuel with the sulfur content up to 500 ppm.
