Gulf Pride 4004 10W-40 is oil for four-stroke boat engines. The high-quality oil for four-stroke water-cooled engines meets the stringent requirements to the oils for the newest models of gasoline outboard and inboard engines, PWCs and scooters. It is specially designed for severe marine water conditions and exceeds the stringent requirements of the newest specification of National Marine Manufacturers Association’s: NMMA FC-W® (for water-cooled four-stroke engines), it has the official certification for compliance with this standard (certificate # FB-44303j). The special low-ash additives provide excellent lubricating properties and high protection from wear and corrosion. Features and benefits: High resistance to shear and stable viscosity properties provide reliable lubrication of engine parts and protection from wear under long-term high loads. Special corrosion inhibitors provide high anti-corrosive protection of the engine components operating in marine water. Active detergent components reduce soot formation on the valves and prevent deposits in the engine. Excellent low-temperature fluidity makes the engine start easier and provides additional protection during warm-up in low ambient temperatures.
