MOTUL 8100 Eco-lite 0W-20. Application. 100% synthetic motor oil with energy saving properties. It is specially developed for modern high-power gasoline engines of passenger autos, including turbocharged and with direct injection, where the oils with reduced friction and very low (? 2.6 mPa.s) HTHS viscosity (viscosity at high temperature and high shear) should be used. It is intended for use in the modern engines, requiring the oils with viscosity grade 20 and energy-saving properties (must meet the API SN class). It can be used in the autos with the exhaust gas after-treatment systems. This type of oil cannot be used in some engines, that’s why check the recommendations in the auto owner’s manual before using this product. Features. The new API SN standard has the full reverse compatibility with the previous API SM requirements and lower. API SM ensures excellent oxidation resistance, high properties preventing formation of deposits and cleaning the engine.
