Gulf Formula ULE SAE 5W-40 is a fully synthetic motor oil for eco-friendly passenger cars. It is formulated using the state-of-the-art additive package and meets the newest standards on SAPS (sulfated ash, phosphorus, sulfur) content. The oil is specially formulated to extend the service life and increase efficiency of the exhaust gas after-treatment systems (catalytic converters or particulate filters) installed on the gasoline or diesel engines of the latest generation. It has excellent detergent and anti-wear properties, reduces formation of soot on the pistons and deposits in the engine and turbocharger. Peculiarities and benefits. High thermal and oxidation stability extends the oil change interval. The newest additive package with a low content of sulfated ash, phosphorus, sulfur extends the service life of the exhaust gas after-treatment systems, such as catalytic converters and particulate filters. Excellent low-temperature fluidity makes winter engine start easier and protects the engine from wear during cold starts. Application. It is recommended for use in MB and Volkswagen passenger cars with diesel or gasoline engines of the latest generation which meet the European Euro 4 emission standards and require the oils by MB 229.51 and VW 502.00, 505.00, 505.01 specifications. It is approved in compliance with the Porsche A40 specifications for use in all Porsche car models after 1994 year of production, especially in Cayenne V6 models to extend the change interval and in Cayenne with diesel engines. It is especially recommended for all BMW autos with Euro 4 gasoline and diesel engines and for the passenger cars, off-road vehicles, mini-buses and light trucks of the latest generation with gasoline and diesel engines fitted with exhaust gas after-treatment systems.
