MOTUL Scooter Expert 4T 10W-40. Application. The oil is specifically designed for city scooters fitted with 4 stroke engines of big and small volumes (from 50 to 650 cm3) with or without catalytic converters. It can be used with leaded and unleaded gasoline. Properties. TECHNOSYNTHESE® motor oil is enhanced by synthetic components ensuring excellent protection. JASO MA approval guarantees reliable wet clutch operation. Excellent high-temperature properties: it is specially recommended for use in city conditions: full load during a long period and idle run on traffic lights. 10W-40 viscosity grade meets the latest requirements of OEMs and reduces wear at idle runs. Low evaporation reduces oil consumption. Detergent and dispersive properties enable to keep the engine clean. It is resistant to viscosity increase in case of appearance of incomplete combustion products. Resistant to aging. Anti-oxidant, anti-corrosive, anti-foaming. Recommendations for application. It is changed within the intervals stipulated by the manufacturer which can be adjusted depending on operation conditions. The oil can be mixed with synthetic or mineral lubricants.
